 The program has been designed as general software for surveillance cross platforms working all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and distant pcs. Users see MPEG coded video and have full control of the software through net that security workstation can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition drastically increases reliability because all units proceed as autonomous programs. If one part freezes, other modules keep on running. For example if the `capture` unit freezes, `watchdog` restarts it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` unit. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be started by motion, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote pc using Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
